​Maltman's girls achieve incredible 81% 11+ qualification rate

Maltman’s Green School is delighted to announce an 81% qualification rate for the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test (11+) for their current Year 6 girls. These girls are now eligible for a grammar school place in September of this year.

Each year the Maltman’s girls sit the Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test (11+) as well as a number of assessments and entrance exams for top independent senior schools. Their excellent results mean that the girls are able to choose from some of the best senior schools in the country, both grammar and independent, including Beaconsfield High School, Dr Challoner’s High School, Wycombe Abbey, Haberdashers’ Girls’, St Helen’s, Berkhamsted and Queen Anne’s Caversham.

Along with achieving such excellent test results, the girls have also been awarded an incredible nineteen scholarships to top independent schools across sport, music, drama and academics, including two All Rounder scholarships to The Royal Masonic School, a Sports Scholarship to Haberdashers' Girls' School, two Academic Scholarships to St Helen’s School, a drama and a music scholarship to Berkhamsted School and two Sports scholarships to St Mary’s School.

Headmistress, Mrs Walker, says: "We are incredibly proud of the girls and their superb achievements. They have shown hard-work, diligence and resilience throughout the testing process, along with a mature approach that has been noted by senior school heads."

With the Maltman’s girls now destined for some of the best senior schools in the country they certainly have incredibly bright futures ahead.
