St Columba’s College student is Hertfordshire Cricket’s Young Player of the Year​

St Columba’s College student Suhaan Shovakar, 13, has been awarded Hertfordshire Cricket Young Player of the Year in the U13-U18 age group.

Suhaan was presented with his award at the Hertfordshire County Cricket Association Annual General Meeting on 9th February by Chairman of Hertfordshire Cricket, Nick Gilbert. He was also awarded with a £1,000 voucher for cricket equipment from Gray-Nicolls.

Mr David Buxton, Headmaster of St Columba’s College, said the whole school community is delighted for Suhann: “It is wonderful that his natural talent, combined with hard work, has been recognised by Hertfordshire cricket. We look forward seeing his cricketing career evolve.”
