Babington House School’s A Level results were truly remarkable this year, with 85% A* and A and 100% A* to B. All credit to the Upper Sixth leavers who are moving on to prestigious universities to embark on exciting and very varied degree courses.

Special congratulations go to those who achieved straight A grades, including Jess who achieved three A* grades to secure her course to read Pure Maths at UCL, and Charlie who starts the prestigious and highly competitive degree apprenticeship at Thalis engineering company to study a degree in Electrical Engineering where, as well as a fully funded degree course, he will be earning a salary and have a guaranteed place on their graduate stream after qualifying.

At GCSE 75% of pupils achieved 9-7 grades and 100% were awarded 5 GCSE's graded 9-5 including English and Maths. All pupils demonstrated resilience in coping with this extraordinary year. These 2020 GCSE results continue to represent the highest academic standards expected at Babington House School.

The Headmaster Tim Lello was utterly thrilled with the achievement and said; “Babington pupils have once again produced the most outstanding grades, many congratulations to all the teachers and students who have put in so much hard work and dedication, especially over the last few months when the lessons have taken place remotely.”
