At Churcher's College Junior School and Nursery's Christmas Fayre the children are given the opportunity to run stalls to raise funds for charities of their choice as part of the Guild Award Scheme the school runs.

The children who ran the Guild stalls should be congratulated on their initiative and enthusiasm.

Three Year 6 girls raised £100.70 for the Orangutan Foundation with a fantastic cake sale, Year 4 girls raised £32.27 for The Book Trust, £31.20 was raised for the Cats’ Protection charity by a group of Year 3, two boys in Year 3 raised £56 to be shared between Sentibale and Cancer Research with their beautifully made gift tags.

£57.44 was raised for The Dogs’ Trust by Year 5 girls and a very enterprising Year 4 raised £150 for Ben’s Epic Christmas boxes with his captivating magic tricks.

Well done to all the children and thank you to the parents for supporting them in their endeavours.
