New and impressive Sport and Wellness Centre at Chigwell School

At the start of the new academic year Chigwell School marked the opening of its new and impressive Sport and Wellness Centre. The ribbon-cutting event was led by the Vice-Chair of our Governors, Mr Morriss, and attended by our Head, Mr King, staff, Head pupil, friends of Chigwell, and representatives of our construction partner McLaren.

This significant investment highlights the school's commitment to holistic education. The new environmentally sustainable centre boasts the latest technology facilities, including a modern, multipurpose sports hall, fitness suites, a gym, a swimming pool, and a climbing wall. It's designed to promote physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and community engagement among students, families, local partners, and the wider community.

Mr Morriss highlighted the importance of the new facility and the role it will play in Chigwell School's future strategic vision. He thanked everyone involved for their commitment to this project and for its successful and timely completion.
