Holme Grange School, Wokingham celebrates with successful students who should be applauded for their achievements. Despite a turbulent summer full of uncertainty and misinformation, this group have shown real courage and resilience, qualities that Holme Grange instils in all pupils. Today they have secured excellent outcomes for their future studies and have gained places for their chosen next steps.

The results reflect a strong academic performance and well deserved outcomes for a group of pupils who worked hard and played fair during their time with us. Over half of all grades were 9 – 7, the old A* - A. Science yet again were excellent with 100% 9-7 for all grades in the individual sciences. Excellent results for a hardworking year group.

Mrs Claire Robinson, Headteacher, expressed her delight for this year group:

“Although the assessment of the final grades might be different this year, the rigour of the process at Holme Grange ensured that this year group can be just as proud of their achievements as every other year group has been. I’m pleased that the wait is now over and this group can proceed to the next exciting phase of their lives.

"We have been faced with a complex set of circumstances but our staff and students have shown great resilience and determination in order to secure honest and accurate outcomes for all. I thank my staff for their professionalism and hard work in guiding and supporting our students through the past few months and throughout the pupils’ education at Holme Grange.

"This cohort are a shining example of all that it means to live 'The Holme Grange Way'. They are a credit to themselves, their parents and their community.

"Education is not all about a set of results, but having the skills to equip the person for life and act as a firm foundation on which a young person can springboard. I look forward to seeing this year group going from Holme Grange and 'spring-boarding' into life. They deserve all the successes and I wish them well.”
