The latest Hazlegrove Year 7 production involved taking on the complexities of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. A challenge which the children rose to superbly, delivering performances that will last long in the memory of all concerned.

Each year the Hazlegrove maths department has a ‘Thinking Outside the Box’ week. This year they 'drifted a little off course' and got 'hopelessly lost' in the exciting world of maps and cartography.

Eight Hazlegrove pupils have had the experience of a lifetime recently either representing England or Team GB in four different competitions - European Triathle Championships, World Triathle Championships, World Laser-Run finals and NSEA Nations Cup

Remembrance Day is always a significant event in the Hazlegrove calendar. In the lead up to this year's service, pupils were busy making ceramic poppies, designing and creating poppies in Design and Technology and handling artefacts from WW1.

The Hazlegrove Pre-Prep curriculum took on a distinctively applely flavour on Apple Day. Weighing, rolling, peeling apples and measuring the length of the skin replaced the usual maths lessons and the creation of apple joke books was a big hit.
