Pupils at King’s Rochester spent their weekend eagerly waiting to hear who Mr David Atherton winner of Channel 4’s The Great British Bake Off 2019 had chosen as winner of their lockdown baking competition.

When the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) team carried out their rigorous, routine inspection of standards at King’s Rochester at the end of January, their conclusions were summed up in one word – EXCELLENT!
Each Friday afternoon the Year 2 and Year 3 pupils in King’s Rochester Pre-Preparatory School don their trainers and PE kits and head off around the Cathedral Precinct as they train for a 2.5k Park Run.
In an exciting new development, more places for musically talented boys and girls aged between eight and 13 will be on offer in Rochester Cathedral Choir. From September 2020, a mixed treble line with equality for boys and girls will be introduced to the Cathedral Choir. All new Choristers will be offered financially-assisted places at King’s Rochester Preparatory School.
On Friday 20th September 2019, Senior School pupils from King’s Rochester held a special service of reflection in the sunlit gardens of Rochester Cathedral, focusing on the Knife Angel.
