​​Millfield School in Somerset has appointed Darren Robinson as Director of Football, starting in September 2020. Darren joins Millfield with a wealth of experience in Professional Football as a coach and coach developer across senior, academy pathway and grassroots football.

​Millfield recent leaver Will Joseph from Newbury has been selected as one of only seven promising future stars for the 20-21 London Irish Senior Academy. Will follows in the footsteps of his brother, England and Bath Rugby centre Jonathan ‘JJ’ Joseph, who is also a former Millfield student, towards a career in professional rugby.

Cranleigh School and Cranleigh Prep School riders have kept themselves and their horses fit during the enforced break from competitions and it has proved worth their efforts as national equestrian sport resumes in England.

Scarlets have teamed up with ​Llandovery College in a new partnership aimed at developing elite rugby talent.

Two Cranleighans have just signed with Harlequins. Will Trenholm and Oscar Beard have been involved with the Harlequins age-group set-up since the age of 13 and, following the completion of their academic studies this year, will become full-time members of the Harlequins Academy.

​​Millfield Rugby lock and back row forward Ewan Richards from Street, Somerset, has been named as one of only seven players from the Bath Rugby U18 Academy to progress to the senior academy, continuing his progress towards a professional career in the sport.
