Three students from St Swithun’s school, Winchester, have been celebrating their recent successes in national mathematics competitions. The girls completed Olympiad-style examination papers set for the best young mathematicians in the country.
On Saturday 30th March, Lord Wandsworth College near Odiham, welcomed back former pupil Patrick Drake, who is Co-Founder and Head Chef at HelloFresh UK, the hugely successful recipe and fresh ingredients delivery service. Mr Drake also hosts their ever popular YouTube channel.

Congratulations go to former Talbot Heath pupil, Lynette Adjei (née Wright), who was recently awarded an MBE (‘Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire’) in the 2019 New Year Honours. Mrs Adjei received her award at Buckingham Palace at the start of April, from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, for Services to Adoption and Fostering Recruitment. On receiving her award Mrs Adjei said it was, ‘A fabulous and unforgettable day.’ She was accompanied by her husband Nicholas, and three of her four children.
Llandovery College pupil Cerys Howell Cousins has recently cut her hair for charity. The Year 8 pupil has cut her long locks and donated the hair to the Little Princess Trust.
