One of the country’s leading independent schools has announced plans to increase dramatically its bursary provision, widening access to those who would not otherwise be able to attend.
More than 1250 African schoolchildren have been kitted out with school uniform courtesy of the Brentwood School’s parents’ association, the Friends of Brentwood School (FoBS).
On Thursday last week, over 100 students from five local schools joined the Big Sleep Out Shelter Build at St Swithun’s School to raise money and awareness for the homelessness charity Trinity Winchester.
