Pocklington School Sixth Form student Tilly Rennison gained the highest mark in the world in her AS History exam last summer and has been granted an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award by examining board the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

Barrow Hills School threw open its doors to the public for guided tours of the historic building and grounds on Saturday 14th September, as the School participated (for the fifth consecutive year) in the national Heritage Open Days initiative, England’s biggest festival of history and culture. Celebrating 25 years, the Heritage Open Days are designed to enable members of the public access to sites of unique interest, bringing local history and heritage to life.

Year 6 enjoyed a day of learning at the British Museum, supplementing their classwork on Ancient Egypt.

Year 3 enjoyed a busy day learning more about the Anglo-Saxons on Friday 15th February.

Students and staff from King’s Ely Junior and King’s Ely Senior came together at Ely Cathedral to mark National Holocaust Memorial Day.

Year 6 travelled back in time to the Victorian Age when they visited Milestones Museum in Basingstoke.
