Six Year 9 students from ​Kingswood School entered the Jaguar Land Rover 4x4 in Schools Regional finals last Tuesday held at Bristol Science Park.

A student from Leighton Park School has been named as a finalist in the Youth Industrial Strategy Competition, a national STEM competition organised by the British Science Association, that will see him compete at the Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Fair from 11th-14th March in Birmingham

Community-spirited King’s Ely Sixth Form students used some of their spare time to help with the creation of a new eco-garden at Isle of Ely Primary School.

King’s Ely Junior pupils attended the inspiring DigiGirlz Day at Microsoft Research Cambridge – and picked up a prize.

“We always think that if our festivals inspire just one child, to find their passion, then it will have been a success. This year’s festival appears to have inspired a multitude.” Feedback on the success of STEM Fest has been outstandingly positive.

Moreton First pupils competed for the first time in the FIRST LEGO League regional finals at Newcastle-under-Lyme College.
