Brentwood School staff, governors and students past and present travelled to the famous Belgian town of Ypres on the last day of term to rededicate their plaque in St George’s English Church to those who fell in the Great War 100 years ago. The last time the School visited in such numbers was in 2009 to unveil the plaque originally.

Students at Westminster Bridge-based DLD College participated in a number of activities to raise awareness of modern-day slavery and human-trafficking, a project spearheaded by CNN. The news channel filmed at the college during the day, capturing DLD’s involvement in the initiative.
Pupils at Llandovery College had the opportunity to sample some unusual cuisine as the Holroyd Howe catering team laid on a ‘Bush Tucker Trial’ tasting event at the school.
