Millfield Sixth Form hurdler Lucy-Jane Matthews from Salisbury broke celebrated British Olympian Sally Gunnell’s 36-year British age 17 100m hurdle record at the 2020 British Championships in Manchester.
The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) has announced the winners of its annual awards. BSA unveiled the eleven winners at its Annual Conference for Heads, which took place virtually on 22 and 23 September.
The remaining founder of St Columba’s College in St Albans retires at the age of 91, after serving the school and local community for over 65 years. Brother Clement also assisted the St Albans Abbey for 26 years as a tour guide and Canon.
15-year-old Georgina Wrigg, a pupil at Burgess Hill Girls, has beaten thousands of other students to gain a scholarship on one of Immerse Education’s summer courses.
