Brentwood School’s Equestrian team started the 2020 season in style with a convincing win in the 95 Eventer Challenge class at Brook Farm Equestrian Centre on Saturday 1st February.
Felsted School 1st XV rugby team kicked off their 7s season by winning the plate at the Seaford 7s national tournament. They won four out of their five games, beating Hurstpierpoint, New Hall, Worcester and their hosts Seaford College, narrowly missing out on a cup win after a defeat from Gordon’s School.
Churcher’s College was honoured to welcome Mala Tribich MBE, to share the testimony of a survivor, a child at the time, almost 75 years after Bergen-Belsen concentration camp was liberated. Mala is now among the last people able to give a first-person account of what she and others suffered, and what was done to them.
Felsted School’s U19 Netball team are through to the National Finals of the Schools Cup after winning all but one of their games in the East Regional round, scoring a total of 89 goals.
11-year-old Izzy, who is a pupil at Highfield and Brookham Schools, made the big decision to give her long hair the chop. However, she did not want her lovely hair to go to waste so made the decision to donate it to The Little Princess Trust.
Musical maestro and Brentwood School Third Year Alex Lockyer will perform a cello concerto with the Brentwood Philharmonic Orchestra this Saturday - an amazing achievement for such a young musician.
