Mr Rob Verdon, Head of Politics at Cranleigh School, has won a Politics Studies Association Award for Outstanding Teaching of Politics.
Staff, students, Old Millfieldians and parents from Millfield School and the South West School of Dance in Street, Somerset have sewed over 50 sets of personal protective equipment scrubs and protective bags for local key workers battling the coronavirus outbreak on the frontline.

Coronavirus may have put a stop to the 2020 Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race, but that has not stopped Churcher’s College Sixth Former, Luca Phillips Mateo from completing the 200km/125m challenge and raising over £3,000 for NHS Charities Together in the process.
Felsted School responded to the decision to close by the Government on Friday 20th March. However, thirteen international students were not able to get home due to restrictions in their home countries, cancelled flights or no flights at all! Felsted’s duty of care to these students put them at the front of any decision making process by the School, at a stressful time when the students were very concerned for their own families and just wanted to be at home.
