Mayfield is celebrating some of its best ever GCSE results, an impressive achievement in a year where examination reforms have made it more challenging for students to reach the top grade.
Students and staff at King’s Ely Senior are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results this year – with more than half of grades achieved being A*s or As.
Year 11 pupils at Bethany have achieved outstanding GCSE results. The school’s focus on developing the virtue of learning and essential learning habits has meant pupils have achieved exceptional results in all subjects, by being incredibly well prepared, supported and challenged.
On the back of some fine A level results, the GCSE pupils at Lord Wandsworth College shone this summer, with over half of all GCSE grades being awarded at A* or A (53%) and 80% of all grades at A*-B, equalling the school’s best GCSE performance in many years and against the backdrop of more challenging exams and reports of less certainty in the new grading system.
