The Queen’s School in Chester is delighted to see the hard work and resilience of students pay off as 80% secure their first choice of university.
An apprentice groundskeeper has secured a full time role after perfecting his skills tendering to the stunning grounds at a Shropshire College.
Year 11 students at Farlington School in Horsham, West Sussex, are today celebrating stronger GCSE results than those achieved before the pandemic in 2019, with 21% grade 9; 35% grades 9-8; 54% grades 9-7; and 95% grades 9-4.
Head of Leighton Park School, Matthew Judd, congratulated his Year 11s on their iGCSE/GCSE successes this morning, pleased that the results have bucked the national trend.
Students at King’s Ely have achieved excellent GCSE results, with over a quarter of all grades being the highest 9s-8s, equivalent to the old A*.
Overall, the Churcher’s GCSE exam success compares very favourably indeed with last year and on the pre-Covid levels as well; almost half of all the GCSE exams taken at the exceptional Grade 9 or 8 level.
