​Churcher's College Junior School pupil Emily (Year 6) was so moved by the plight of koalas affected by the recent fires in Australia, that she decided to hold a colouring competition to raise funds to help them.

Highfield and Brookham Schools are a Nursery, Pre-prep and Prep school for boys and girls aged 2-13. They are located in the South Downs National Park and offer both day and boarding options for children. Boarding used to be compulsory but Headmaster, Phillip Evitt, abolished this in 1999 and now boarding is optional for children from Year 4.

Millfield Prep School pupil Sophie Furlong competed at the All England Dance Championships this month making the quarter finals in the ballroom, Latin and classical categories.

​Pocklington School hosted a day of rugby for over 90 under 18 players recently, organised by the Yorkshire Rugby Football Union, when the original venue for the day had to be changed due to flooding. Matches were played against Lancashire and Cheshire in a highly competitive tournament, which saw a quarter of players represent their respective counties for the first time.

Senior School pupils had the great pleasure of welcoming author Vicky Holmes (more commonly known under the pseudonym Erin Hunter) on 27th January 2020.

Moreton First, the preparatory school of Moreton Hall in Weston Rhyn, one of the UK’s leading independent schools, is opening its doors on Saturday 7th March at 10am to prospective pupils.
