Wellington College has a proud history of cross-country running, stretching back to the 1860s; in more recent years, the College has acquired a name for Wellbeing, being one of the first schools in the UK to pioneer the teaching of Wellbeing as part of the curriculum. This year, these two traditions will combine. Thanks to the dedication of Delyth Lynch, Deputy Head (Safeguarding) and Head of Running, along with her team of running enthusiasts, the College has been recognised as a #RunAndTalk organisation.
The Courage Hall was at capacity for Wednesday night’s much-anticipated House Music event, and for the students of Brentwood School’s West House, it culminated in a celebrated win.
Ten year old Allegra Turton is flying high following her invitation to join the Ambition Race Team, one of GBR’s leading alpine ski racing academies responsible for producing a number of Britain’s top alpine ski racers who have represented the GB Ski Team internationally.
Children and parents from Highfield and Brookham Schools in Liphook celebrated harvest last weekend. Over 200 people gathered in the school’s chapel, which was decorated with an abundance of fruit, vegetables, and packed and tinned food which had all been kindly donated by families from the school. Children in the Pre-prep contributed to the festival by harvesting vegetables that they had grown with care themselves in the school’s vegetable garden.
